Hormone balancing balls

These little balls are one of my favorite little snacks to have on hand. They are full of collagen (helps to promote, skin, nails and joints), healthy fat and fibre.

The recipes provides you with your daily serving of seeds when following seed cycling for hormone balance.

Even if you don’t seed cycle, you can definitely still benefit from this recipe.

If you are Vegan/ Vegetarian you can just remove the Collagen added to this recipe.

Seed cycling balls

Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free, Seed Cycling Phase 1 & 2

Ingredients

½ cup organic nut butter

4 scoops collagen powder

2 Tbsp raw honey

2 Tbsp chia seeds

¼ cup almond milk

2 cups of seeds

2 Tbsp cocoa powder, for dusting

2 Tbsp designated coconut, for dusting

  • Phase 1 (1 cup ground pumpkin seeds + 1 cup ground flax seeds) OR
  • Phase 2 (1 cup ground sesame seeds + 1 cup ground sunflower seeds)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a food processor, weight out 14 balls of each phase.

Add the cocoa powder and coconut to an empty bowl for rolling. Roll each ball in the mixture.

Store in freezer, once frozen, transfer to an airtight container until they are ready to eat.
