Sunflower Seed Spread

A healthy and versatile spreadable snack, rich in vitamin A and healthy fats.

Should you look for a fun way to get your family to eat more veggies, this is the spread for you!

I love hummus, but sometimes I need something a little different. I made one big bath of this recipe and now its always in my fridge. I like to add it to my salads or use it as a side dish too, it really is so versatile.

This recipe also supports my seed cycling habit. A naturopathic remedy I use every month.

Seed cycling helps to regulate periods, reduce acne, treat polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis and infertility. It even helps to balance hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue and mood swings.

The sunflower and sesame seeds support and balance my estrogen and progesterone levels during the second half of my cycle.

Raw Sunflower Seed Spread

1 Tbsp tomato paste

Drain and remove excess water from the sunflower seeds. Transfer them to a food processor along with the rest of the ingredients.
